Founded in 1934, The Ladies of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Holy Cross College is a social organization that fosters friendships and promotes life-long enrichment through educational, cultural and volunteer activities.

We welcome current and retired faculty and staff, spouses of faculty and staff, graduate students, alumnae, spouses of alumni, and other women who admire and respect the mission of the schools in the tri-campus community.

Upcoming Events and Programs

From guest lectures to community outings and so much more, programs are offered for the entire membership throughout the academic year. By attending the monthly programs, members enjoy time together, as well as a variety of program topics and the many opportunities provided.

  • “Knute Rockne and a Century of Champions”

    Wednesday March 4 at 1:30 pm

    The History Museum in South Bend

    WNDU’s Tricia Sloma shows portions of the Emmy nominated documentary she produced, “Knute Rockne and a Century of Champions.” The program explores Notre Dame’s 100 years of National Championships, including its first in 1925 under Coach Rockne. Following the presentation, an optional tour of the Rockne exhibit will be available, as well as refreshments for all to enjoy.

    Tickets for this event are available at the door with a cost of $3.00 for non-museum members and $1.00 for museum members.

  • Annual Spring Scholarship Luncheon

    April 12 12 p.m.

    Morris Park Country Club South Bend, Indiana

    The cost is $40 per person.

    You may register online or mail in the form found in the February Newsletter. We will welcome Fr. Bob Dowd and honor this year’s Scholarship Recipients.

    Non-member female guests will be welcome to attend.

  • Strolling through the Wellfield Botanical Gardens

    The Wellfield Botanical Gardens, located in Elkhart, Indiana, offer endless possibilities for discovery! From leisurely strolls around the ½ mile Promenade Trail to exploring side trails and themed gardens, you’ll find something for everyone.

Scholarship Funds

The Ladies of Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s College Scholarship supports the education of local area female students who are pursuing their undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College and Holy Cross College.

Our donor’s generous contributions make a lasting impact in the lives of our students!
